We are seeking a highly skilled Head Chef to join our team at IRISH TIMES PUB in an exciting opportunity to lead the culinary experience for our customers.

Job Summary:

  • Lead a high-performing kitchen team, ensuring exceptional food quality, presentation, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

Culinary Leadership
  • Direct and motivate the kitchen team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Ensure accurate menu pricing, portion control, and inventory management.
  • Analyze sales data, guest feedback, and market trends to inform menu decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent quality and competitive pricing.
Menu Development and Execution
  • Create and maintain menus that reflect the brand's vision, quality standards, and seasonal offerings.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new concepts, promotions, and limited-time offers.
  • Work closely with the pastry chef to create visually appealing desserts and baked goods.
Safety and Quality Assurance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks on ingredients, preparation methods, and finished dishes.
  • Implement and enforce HACCP procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Proven track record of success in menu development, cost control, and team leadership.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
