The successful candidate will direct an efficient and profitable service department, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy. They will prepare and administer an annual operating budget, monitor department performance, and establish good working relationships with customers and vocational schools.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring compliance with OHSA regulations and the Company's Health and Safety Policy
  • Preparing and administering an annual operating budget
  • Monitoring department performance using reporting and tracking systems
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers and vocational schools
  • Preparing pricing guides and maintenance menus for frequent labor operations
  • Maintaining reporting systems required by general management and corporate personnel
  • Other related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; College or post-secondary education preferred
  • Two years service department experience in a commercial dealership environment or related industry experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, outgoing, positive thinker, and self-motivated
  • Sound decision making, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Competency in customer service, administrative skills, team building, and proficiency with software and computers
  • SAP experience is an asset
  • Criminal Record Check
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets the insurability guidelines set forth by the company's insurance carrier
