Aerospace Technical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Technical Specialist to join our team at Cascade Aerospace Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical guidance and leadership in the resolution of immediate and long-term issues impacting the CC130H fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Work directly with the Canadian Forces (CF) 435 Squadron SAMEO to support aircraft availability and meet Canada's Search & Rescue commitment.
- Troubleshoot and investigate technical issues related to C130 flight systems.
- Collaborate with Cascade Aerospace Production Specialists, Supply Chain Management, and Integrated Logistics Support to resolve technical issues affecting operations.
- Carry out investigations to determine the cause of repetitive or significant technical problems and recommend corrective actions.
- Liaise with CF Sqn/Engineering Project Office personnel, CC130H WSM Office, and on-site CF and contractor representatives to resolve issues.
- Participate in regular progress reviews and report on schedule and quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with technical, regulatory, contractual, and legislative requirements.
- Assess efficiency of resource utilization and strive for continuous improvement.
- Maintain superior customer relationships and communications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Excellent communication skills: fluent verbal and written English is mandatory.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer relations.
- Proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Professional appearance and behavior.
- Proficient in use of computers and various Cascade and customer ADP systems.
- Holder of TCA AME License or Military equivalency with type training for CC130H.
- Minimum five (5) years of technical experience on aircraft flight systems.
- Minimum three (3) years of technical experience on C130 platform.
- Capable of getting Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and Reliability Security Clearances.
