Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and overhaul of gas turbine engines
  • Inspection of engine modules and engine components
  • Collaboration with colleagues to achieve maximum quality
  • Accurate completion of relevant paperwork
  • Adherence to all applicable safety practices and aviation regulations
Requirements:
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints
  • Capacity to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
Professional Development:
  • Mechanic I: Basic knowledge of engines/components, previous experience with routine induction/dismantle
  • Mechanic II: Comprehensive understanding of inspection, ability to provide guidance
  • Mechanic III: Proficient in induction and dismantle, advanced understanding of manuals and technical data
  • Mechanic IV: Provides guidance to other mechanics, in-depth knowledge of process and aviation regulations
