About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 By Wyndham Clifton Hill. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a team of housekeeping staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our guests.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect and Maintain Standards: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Prepare Budgets and Estimates: Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for housekeeping supplies and services.
  • Recommend Additional Services: Identify opportunities to improve our housekeeping services and recommend additional services such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain Financial Records: Ensure that all financial records related to housekeeping are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or hospitality role.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
