Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Super 8 By Wyndham Clifton Hill.

Job Summary:

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that our guests receive a clean and comfortable stay. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of our housekeeping staff, inspecting sites to ensure safety and cleanliness standards, and preparing budget and cost estimates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of cleaning staff
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
  • Maintain financial records
  • Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties
  • Co-ordinate work activities with other departments
  • Establish work schedules
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience
  • Client focus

  • Reliability
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.
