Job Title: Support Worker with a Community Focus

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Improving Lives In-Home Care. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

About the Role:

This support worker position requires someone with a passion for building strong relationships and providing empathetic care to individuals in need. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality support services that promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed reports and case histories to ensure effective communication and collaboration with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement specific services within the community to meet the unique needs of each individual.
  • Perform housekeeping activities, including food preparation, to create a comfortable and safe environment.
  • Implement behavior management programs and provide companionship to enhance clients' quality of life.
  • Assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and other daily living activities.
Requirements:
  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent is required.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • The ability to work independently and under pressure is essential.
  • Physical demands of the job require standing, walking, and lifting.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure your success in this role.
