Human Resources Director

We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to join our team at NBM Railways in Saint John, NB. This is a key senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic alignment of HR operations, talent management, and employee engagement.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will report to the Divisional Director of Human Resources and be part of the leadership team. The primary focus will be on partnering with business leaders to achieve exceptional performance through progressive HR strategies and programs.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive human resources strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead highly engaged teams and oversee the rollout of critical HR programs such as attraction & retention, workforce planning, performance management, leadership development, compensation, and employee engagement.
- Coach and develop HR professionals who serve as the primary point of contact with employees, leaders, shared services, and external contacts on all human resources matters.
- Provide Human Resources leadership, solutions, and coaching to anticipate and meet business needs.
- Contribute to building a positive culture that fosters accountability and teamwork.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or a related discipline (CPHR Designation is an asset).
- Experience in a progressive human resources management role, preferably leading highly engaged teams.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to plan, manage, execute, and lead at both the strategic and operational levels.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and team-oriented.
Estimated Salary:
$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.

Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
