Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PJ Atlantic Restaurants (Saint John East) Ltd. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency in our kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Expertise: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare and submit reports, and operate cash registers with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Staff Development: Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment with fast-paced conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a team player attitude.
