Clinical Care Support Specialist

This part-time position comes with flexible weekend hours, offering either evening or morning shifts depending on availability. You'll be joining a well-established, experienced care team that requires additional support during weekend hours. Your primary focus will be supporting the care team with clinical expertise and ensuring that residents' well-being is prioritized.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the care team with clinical expertise and prioritize residents' well-being
- Collaborate with the case manager from Island Health to update residents' care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with the care team to support residents in their daily routines
- Lead and guide the team on best clinical practices, particularly in an Assisted Living care setting
- Ensure documentation is completed in accordance with care standards and regulations
You'll work alternating shifts between Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (morning or evening) with a consistent schedule. The role offers flexibility in choosing shifts that suit your work-life balance. Whether you prefer Saturday and Sunday evenings or a combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, the choice is yours.
Requirements:- Graduate of a recognized school of nursing
- Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma or Registered Nurse designation
- Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred
- Availability to work consistent shifts over the weekend
Baptist Housing provides enhanced living communities and exceptional care to over 2700 seniors in British Columbia. We serve through a culture of caring where we put the wellness of our residents first in a person-centered approach.
We offer competitive compensation at $32-$35 per hour for this part-time position. Ability to commute or relocate to Victoria, BC is preferred. Emergency CPR and First Aid Certification are also preferred.
