Executive Chef - Verve Senior Living

Position Type: Full-time

Verve Senior Living is seeking a skilled Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. Our organization is dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for our residents, their families, and our staff. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of seniors and making each day memorable.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Smart Serve Certification required
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience in volume food preparation
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Familiarity with dietary software

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to Verve Quality Improvement program
  • Recruit, select, and orientate dining services staff
  • Plan and execute catering functions
  • Maintain records and provide reports for financial management
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Key Performance Indicators

  • Deliver high-quality culinary services that meet resident expectations
  • Manage food costs and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
  • Develop and implement menu plans that cater to diverse dietary needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance resident experiences
