Job Description:

At Dozo House, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef and Culinary Director to lead our culinary team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef to take charge of our kitchen and create delicious meals for our guests.

About the Role:
As our Executive Chef and Culinary Director, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, managing kitchen staff, and overseeing food costs and inventory. You will also be expected to create new recipes, plan menus, and ensure that all food meets our quality standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff, as well as training them in food preparation, cooking, and handling.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
• Develop and implement new recipes that meet our quality standards
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively
• Prepare and cook meals and specialty foods, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences
• Source high-quality ingredients and kitchen supplies, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery
• Plan menus that are both creative and cost-effective, taking into account seasonal ingredients and trends
• Recruit and hire talented staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and experience
• Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling, ensuring that they are up-to-date with the latest techniques and best practices

Requirements:
• 2 years of experience as a chef or in a related role
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Excellent leadership and management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with staff and other stakeholders

Salary:
Estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
