Salary:

We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

 

Job Description:

You will work as a direct service provider, consultant, educator, or advocate, providing evidence-informed services that focus on occupational performance. Your goal is to enable individuals, groups, and communities to engage in meaningful occupations, including self-care, productivity, and leisure activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To engage individuals, groups, and communities in enabling meaningful and chosen occupations.
  2. To support clients in achieving optimum functional abilities and independence related to their cognitive, affective, spiritual, and physical strengths and limitations.
  3. To participate in interprofessional teams to build awareness, enrich support, and engage in quality improvement by partnering with healthcare providers, patients, families, and other stakeholders to advance services for the clients.
  4. To contribute to quality improvement and professional community through peer mentoring, supervising students, and participating in clinical supervision for Therapy Assistants and Therapy Aides.

 

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program.
  • Registration with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists (ACOT).
  • BLS certification.
