Job Description:

As a Rehabilitation Therapy Support Specialist at Alberta Health Services, you will play a vital role in delivering effective and efficient rehabilitation services to clients across the health care continuum.

The ideal candidate will have a diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation program or equivalent training. You will work under the assignment, monitoring, and evaluation of an audiologist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, recreation therapist, or speech-language pathologist.

Your responsibilities will include supporting clients with direct and indirect client care, non-client service provision, and contributing to quality improvement, program planning, and student supervision. You will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to optimize services.

In this role, you will be required to travel within the city of Calgary, including caring for clients in their homes or in the community. You must be physically able to perform all duties and possess intermediate computer skills.

We are looking for an individual who is able to demonstrate professionalism, strong ethics, and problem-solving skills to work effectively with internal and external members of the interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • Diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation program or equivalent training
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal and external members of the interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum
