Your Opportunity:

This position operates in the highly technical environment of X-Ray, where you will work as a Medical Radiation Technologist I at Alberta Children's Hospital. You will assess patients, analyze and interpret diagnostic data, and provide information to the Radiologist to assist in diagnosis, clinical intervention, and patient management.

Description:

As a Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) I, you will perform standard radiological imaging examinations on patients for disease and pathology diagnosis. You will interpret physician requisitions, prepare and assess patients for examination, produce high-quality diagnostic images for Physician/Radiologist review, and assist with equipment care and maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must hold a diploma from an accredited Medical Radiation Technologist program and be registered with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Basic Cardiac Life Support Healthcare Provider certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and promote good teamwork. Good judgment and attention to detail.
