Associate Financial Advisor

IG Wealth Management is seeking a self-motivated and disciplined Associate Financial Advisor to join our practice in a client servicing role as a full-time, in-office team member.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support lead advisors in comprehensive financial planning and client servicing activities.
  • Provide in-depth analysis, financial plan creation, and execution of strategic concepts.
  • Explain product and services to clients directly and support all activities to further client relationships.
  • Identify new business opportunities from existing families.
  • Support practice management activities, including account reviews, trade orders, compliance adherence, and documentation tracking.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' industry experience.
  • MFDA license in place.
  • Life License Qualification Program completion (or willingness to obtain).
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is a plus, or willingness to work towards CFP.
  • Experience in financial planning and using financial planning software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Desire to work in a successful and dynamic practice where each team member may wear multiple hats.
  • Critical thinker who can come up with unique solutions to problems.
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently.
