Job Summary

FAST DRYWALL LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installer to join our team. As a Drywall Installer, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to create smooth surfaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to create walls and ceilings
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to create a smooth surface
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, to install drywall sheets and complete tasks
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights, in cold and hot temperatures, and in dusty environments
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads, including drywall sheets and tools
  • Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Dependability, flexibility, and reliability
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installer, you will work in a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, institutional, and residential locations. You will be exposed to heights, cold and hot temperatures, and dusty environments.
