About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at JOHAL DRYWALL. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
  • Dependability, judgement, and teamwork skills
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in various locations, including construction sites and warehouses. You will be required to work at heights and in confined spaces.
