About the Role

Punia Drywall Ltd. is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our installation crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality drywall installation and finishing work on our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install drywall sheets, measuring, cutting, and fitting them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, ensuring a safe and efficient installation process.
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not necessary.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and walking.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
