FAST DRYWALL LTD is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing drywall sheets, taping joints, and applying successive coats of compound to ensure a smooth finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, and install drywall sheets to meet project specifications
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to achieve a smooth finish
  • Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms to ensure safe access to work areas
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements
Work Environment

As a Drywall Installation Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and noise levels. You will be required to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages, and may be exposed to dust, cold, and hot temperatures.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in drywall installation
  • Ability to work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
