About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at L&L Concrete Foundation Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Sand, Trim, and Clean Products: Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Operate Equipment and Instruments: Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
  • Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Work Site Environment: Ability to work at heights and in various locations.
  • Work Setting: Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
  • Personal Suitability: Reliability and ability to work as part of a team.
