About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Custom Ston Masonry Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: You will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Sand, Trim, and Finish Products: You will sand, trim, grind, or clean products into their final form using hand tools, ensuring a smooth and professional finish.
  • Operate Equipment and Instruments: You will observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications, guaranteeing the highest level of quality and safety.
  • Assemble and Install Merchandise: You will assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: You will ensure that all safety procedures are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required
  • Work Environment: You will work at heights, in various locations, and in a physically demanding environment
  • Work Setting: You will work in a fast-paced construction environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Physical Capabilities: You will be required to bend, crouch, kneel, handle heavy loads, and work overtime when necessary
  • Personal Suitability: You will be a reliable team player, able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
