We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at L&L Concrete Foundation Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Sand, Trim, and Clean Products: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools to achieve a high-quality finish.
- Operate Equipment and Instruments: Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
- Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Work Site Environment: Ability to work at heights and in various locations.
- Work Setting: Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and handling heavy loads.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.
- Personal Suitability: Reliability, team player, and ability to work overtime when required.
Language: English or French. Work hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
