About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Custom Ston Masonry Inc. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for working with various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and lightweight steel, to create and install masonry structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Use precision tools to measure, cut, and shape materials according to specifications.
  • Finish and Clean Products: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products to achieve a high-quality finish.
  • Operate Equipment and Instruments: Monitor equipment, panel indicators, and video monitors to ensure processes are operating within specifications.
  • Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise or products according to customer requirements.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Experience in the trade is an asset.
  • Work Environment: The successful candidate will be required to work at heights and in various locations.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Work Schedule: The position requires working overtime and is physically demanding.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language: Fluency in English or French is required.
  • Work Hours: The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week.
