About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at L&L Concrete Foundation Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in our carpentry projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
  • Sand, Trim, and Clean Products: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools to achieve a smooth and polished finish.
  • Operate Equipment and Instruments: Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
  • Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
Work Environment

As a Carpentery Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying work sites and locations. You will be required to work at heights, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Language: English or French.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.

Physical Demands
  • Bending, Crouching, Kneeling: Ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.

  • Handling Heavy Loads: Ability to handle heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
