Key Responsibilities- Measure, Cut, and Assemble Materials: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to ensure precise fit and finish.
- Sand, Trim, and Clean Products: Sand, trim, grind, or clean products into final form using hand tools to achieve a smooth and polished finish.
- Operate Equipment and Instruments: Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications.
- Assemble and Install Merchandise: Assemble, install, and set up merchandise/products to meet customer requirements.
- Ensure Safety Procedures: Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
As a Carpentery Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment, often at heights, and in various locations. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and may be required to work overtime.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: Experience is an asset.
- Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
- Language: English or French.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
