Job Title: Senior Contract and Legislative Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract and Legislative Manager to join our team at the Government of Alberta. In this key role, you will provide contract and legislative support and project management to various ministries, ensuring effective collaboration and compliance with ministry legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating the review of contracts, agreements, and grant templates, providing expertise and advice to program areas;
  • Leading the Ministry's participation in the Red-Tape Reduction initiative to reduce unnecessary administrative burden;
  • Providing leadership and expertise to ensure that program areas and other government Ministries understand and comply with ministry legislation;
  • Interacting daily with program area colleagues, senior leaders, financial services, and agencies for the purposes of providing advice and information as requested, and facilitating legal reviews;
What We Offer:

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with the Government of Alberta. The annual salary for this position is approximately $115,000-$140,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
