About This Role:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Contract Negotiator to join our team at Parsons Corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiates prime contracts or contract modifications, often under demanding conditions.
  • Draws upon broad prior experience to effectively negotiate favorable terms and conditions with clients while achieving Company objectives.
  • Participates in project, Company, and Corporate strategic planning activities, including risk assessment, bid/no bid analysis, and business plan development.
  • Selects personnel, makes staffing assignments, supervises work produced to ensure consistent high-quality performance.
  • Maintains active participation in related professional societies to stay up-to-date on relevant contractual issues.
  • Provides training and development for personnel assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field and typically 3+ years of contract administration experience.
  • Prime contract administration experience within a large international engineering and construction firm.
  • Previous demonstrable experience in a large integrated joint venture infrastructure project.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry business practices and negotiation of prime contracts.
  • Working knowledge of PC software packages associated with contract administration.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to independently negotiate complex contractual issues.
  • Proven ability to manage and direct work involving complex situations.
