We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Business Development Specialist to join our team at Randstad Canada. This role involves close collaboration with the HR leadership team and ensuring compliance with applicable legislation as well as HR programs, policies, and procedures.

About the Role

This 6-month temporary position offers a strong possibility of extension and provides a hybrid work model with 2 days on-site in Drummondville and 3 days remote. The flexible schedule operates Monday to Friday, and the annual salary ranges from $80k to $100k.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Guide managers and supervisors on various HR aspects, including values, engagement, training, development, performance management, attendance, health and safety, and compensation.
  2. Promote and enforce HR policies and applicable legislation (labor law, health and safety, labor relations).
  3. Support talent management initiatives: development, internal mobility, promotions, and succession planning.
  4. Ensure organizational values are upheld while supporting business objectives with tailored HR programs and tools.
  5. Manage recruitment and staffing activities in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
  6. Foster employee engagement and a performance-driven culture by promoting the organization's mission and values.
  7. Contribute to improving and standardizing HR processes and oversee their implementation.
  8. Participate in employee relations projects (work environment, recognition programs, health initiatives).
Requirements
  1. Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology (or equivalent experience)
  2. 5+ years of progressive HR experience in operational, logistics, manufacturing, or related environments
  3. Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, and programs
  4. Bilingual in French and English (required for communication across Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia)
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as SAP and ADP
