About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Olive Bistro & Lounge Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service.
    • Train and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Food Safety and Quality
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Implement and maintain effective food safety and quality control procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels to minimize waste and optimize kitchen operations.
    • Source and procure high-quality ingredients and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a high-quality dining experience.
    • Respond to customer feedback and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen.
    • Degree in culinary arts or related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
