About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Application Design Engineer - Axial Flux Motors and Power Electronics. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing axial flux motors and power electronics for commercial vehicle, off-highway vehicle, and non-road applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop axial flux motors and power electronics for various applications, including commercial vehicle, off-highway vehicle, and non-road applications.
  • Customer Support: Provide technical support to customers, including installation, maintenance, operation, troubleshooting, repair, and customer training of Turntide products.
  • Motor Characterization: Assist with motor characterization using dynos at our facilities and on-site customer locations.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Sales Team to understand customer technical needs and drive feedback into Turntide Product and Engineering groups.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Experience: Experience with on-highway, off-highway, and/or non-road vehicle applications.
  • Skills: Knowledge of EMC, Environmental, Product Safety, and Electrical test standards.
