Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at BMO. As a key member of our Retail Banking Sales and Service team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and prospects, identifying their needs, and providing advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers and prospects, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Needs Assessment: Identify customers' needs and provide advice and guidance on financial solutions that meet their individual needs.
  • Financial Solutions: Offer a range of financial solutions, including banking services, credit cards, and other financial products, to customers and prospects.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Possess a strong understanding of personal, commercial, and partner offers, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work in different capacities as part of a team.
  • Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve business objectives and deliver exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Education: Post-secondary degree or certification in a related field of study is desirable.
  • Experience: No prior experience necessary, but a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of financial solutions is essential.
  • Skills: Possess a strong understanding of personal, commercial, and partner offers, as well as the ability to communicate complex financial information to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adaptability: Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to work in different capacities as part of a team.
  • Communication: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and connections with customers.
