About the Role

BDO Canada LLP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Marketing Officer to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy to drive business growth and brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives and goals.
  • Brand Development: Lead the development and execution of our brand strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity.
  • Marketing Communications: Oversee the development and distribution of marketing communications, including advertising, public relations, and social media.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact our business.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of marketing professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Collaboration and Partnerships: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and customer success, to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement and Reporting: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts and provide regular reporting to senior leadership.
Requirements
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in marketing leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth and brand awareness.
  • Education: University degree in marketing or a related field, ideally supplemented by a recognized designation or certification.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proven ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies, with a focus on brand development, marketing communications, and market research.
