We are seeking an experienced Travel Consultant to join our team at Imperial Hospitality Consulting.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working approximately 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a strong passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex travel itineraries, providing expert advice and guidance to clients;
- Utilize industry-standard software, such as Galileo and Amadeus, to research and book travel arrangements;
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate competitive rates and promotions;
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments, ensuring that clients receive the most current information and advice;
- Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking sales performance and client interactions;
- 1-2 years of experience in the travel industry, preferably in a consulting or advisory role;
- Degree in a related field, such as hospitality or tourism management;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders;
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word;
- A competitive salary of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience;
