Job Title: Travel Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Travel Consultant to join our team at Imperial Hospitality Consulting. As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and travel expertise to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage difficult situations with customers and provide solutions to their travel needs.
  • Perform general office duties, including data entry and administrative tasks.
  • Sell travel products and travel insurance to clients, using your knowledge of the industry and market trends.
  • Provide clients with travel information and advice, including regulations, duty-free allowances, health risks, and requirements.
  • Attend to cancellations and schedule changes, ensuring that clients are informed and supported throughout the process.
  • Develop and maintain contact lists, including client information and travel preferences.
  • Make transportation and accommodation reservations using computerized reservation and ticketing systems.
  • Provide clients with travel information and advice, including transportation options, accommodation choices, and travel costs.

Requirements:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • Permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency.
  • 30 hours per week.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

  • Galileo.
  • Amadeus.
  • MS Office.
  • Sabre.
