Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual peer support and peer-based recovery groups
- Support patient/client recovery through motivational and supportive self-disclosure
- Promote empowerment, self-determination, and independence through peer mentorship
- Assist patients/clients in exploration of skill building and community integration
Qualifications:
- Certificate in a Social Services program and Peer Support Training
- Two years of recent experience in a peer support role
- Lived experience with recovery from addiction and/or mental illness
