Accounting Internship Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented accounting intern to join our team at McCain Foods. As an accounting intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, internal audit, financial planning and analysis, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, including consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Conduct financial and operational reviews and create detailed audit reports
  • Analyze regional and segment performance for improvement recommendations
  • Prepare and analyze quarterly/annual forecasts
  • Support critical strategic projects
Requirements:
  • 2nd or 3rd year university student, enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Interest in obtaining CPA designation
  • Demonstrated qualities of integrity and trust
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Adeptness at working effectively within a team
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills
  • Sharp analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • A results-driven, hands-on, self-motivated work approach
  • Proficiency in the English language
