Pacific Blue Cross is seeking a highly skilled Disability Claims Recovery Specialist to join its Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in collections administration, including experience in disability insurance claims collections.

About the Role
This temporary position is part of the CUPE 1816 Bargaining Unit and involves analyzing, investigating, and reconciling disability claims overpayments and recoveries. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to negotiate settlement amounts, collect payments, and answer inquiries.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and investigate disability claims overpayments and recoveries
- Negotiate settlement amounts and collect payments
- Represent Pacific Blue Cross at Small Claims Court settlement conferences and hearings
- Provide technical advice on collection practices and procedures

Requirements
- High school graduation or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in collections administration, including disability insurance claims collections
- Proficiency in intermediate Word and Excel
