We are seeking an experienced Director of Strategic Business Development to join our team at Dow Jones & Company, Inc. in Toronto, Canada.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our presence in the global market.

  • BUILD STRONG PARTNERSHIPS: Establish and maintain relationships with senior-level executives in partner organizations to ensure they utilize our products and services to their fullest potential.
  • DEVELOP BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PLANS: Create and execute plans to grow existing partnerships, explore new business opportunities, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • FACILITATE COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING: Collaborate with internal teams to provide training, sales materials, and support to partner sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary tools to succeed.
  • MANAGE REVENUE GROWTH: Analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop strategies to increase revenue and revenue margins through existing and new partnerships.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in business development, relationship management, and project management.

Requirements
  • 10+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Proven track record in business development, relationship management, and strategic planning.
  • COMMERCIAL AWARENESS: Strong understanding of contractual obligations, revenue growth strategies, and market trends.
