Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Outpatient Mental Health and Addiction Services team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our interdisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with inpatient, outpatient, and community-based teams to provide administrative support services.
  • Provide scheduling services and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain filing systems for patient charts and administrative information.
  • Navigate SAH software to gather data and create reports.
  • Develop and apply Lean methodology to improve processes.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Office Administration or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and computer literacy in Microsoft environment.
  • Recent experience in a healthcare environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Meditech applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
