As a key member of our Leadership Group, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all aspects of our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the Plant Manager, Design Manager, and Project Manager to ensure seamless execution of production schedules.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Group to develop and implement the annual budget and operating plans.
- Oversee Health and Safety compliance and initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.
- Make critical decisions regarding procedures, planning, and financial strategies to drive business growth.
- Address and resolve internal and external inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide regular production updates to the Leadership Group and stakeholders.
- Review and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to ensure accurate sales forecasting and planning.
- Conduct regular meetings with the Design Manager and Project Manager to ensure efficient project management.
- Review and sign off on employee timesheets to ensure accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Oversee the coordination of company events and meetings.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Leadership Group.
- University degree or postsecondary diploma in Operations Management, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations role within the production/manufacturing industry.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and reducing costs.
- Strong leadership, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
- Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work both independently and as part of a team.
