About the Role

Expand Reach Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and recruitment team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding our market share in the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through various sales strategies, including cold calling, proposals, and meetings/presentations.
  • Engage with clients and potential clients to understand their business needs and provide high-quality recruitment solutions.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers by being a strategic partner and advisor to clients.
  • Effectively communicate with clients through digital media, including web conferences and emails.
  • Assist in preparing and negotiating service agreements with new clients.
  • Actively search and source top talent and professionals through proven resources and methodologies.
  • Develop a network of candidates and maintain relationships with them.
  • Develop job postings and advertising opportunities on online job boards and social media.
  • Attract qualified candidates and match them with available opportunities.
  • Screen, interview, and qualify candidates to meet client and role specifications.
  • Advise and coach candidates throughout the interviewing process.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and provide interview feedback.
  • Conduct professional reference checks and negotiate employment offers.
Requirements
  • University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, sales, or account management.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proven negotiation and sales/persuasion skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with excellent interpersonal and teamworking skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Quick and willing learner, with a passion for sales and building business relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
  • Computer savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
