About the Role:

CA001 Marsh Canada Limited is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Surety Client Representative to join our team. As a Surety Client Representative, you will play a critical role in providing administrative support to our Surety business unit, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of client services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in day-to-day administration operations associated with issuing surety bonds, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance of client documentation.
  • Work in partnership with client executives to ensure approval of bonds, collecting information and presenting to sureties and clients.
  • Support data management and maintenance, ensuring all documents are current and correct.
  • Prepare bond costing for tenders and final bonds, including primary and pro-rated return/additional premium costing.
  • Provide support in conducting primary and secondary research with client executives on behalf of clients.
  • Create client files and update filing documentation as required.
  • Maintain proper records for reporting and audit purposes.
  • Ensure all electronic files are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed with guidance from client teams.
  • Collaborate internally to identify and resolve information gaps in key account data.
  • Adhere to company procedures and data integrity standards.
  • May handle mail service and liaise with couriers.
  • Comply with Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clients.
  • Utilize spreadsheets, Word documents, and database management (NPT) to perform tasks.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheet software, as well as a working knowledge of presentation software.
  • Microsoft Office skills, with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Internet Explorer, Outlook.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new concepts and skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business savvy with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional service industry knowledge or experience an asset.
  • Results-oriented with a strong client service focus.
  • Clear, courteous, and professional in all external communication with clients and prospective clients.
  • Insurance license or ability to obtain.
