Surety Client Representative

This role is an exciting opportunity to join Marsh, a leading insurance broker and risk adviser, as a Surety Client Representative. As a key member of the Surety business unit, you will provide administrative support to deliver exceptional client services in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Surety business unit, supporting the delivery of required client services.
  • Assist in day-to-day administration operations associated with issuing surety bonds, ensuring accuracy and timely issuance of client documentation.
  • Work in partnership with client executives to ensure approval of bonds, collecting information and presenting to sureties and clients.
  • Support data management and maintenance, preparing bond costing for tenders and final bonds.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research with client executives on behalf of clients, creating client files and updating filing documentation as required.
  • Maintain proper records for reporting and audit purposes, ensuring all documents are current and correct.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed, collaborating internally to identify and resolve information gaps in key account data.
  • Adhere to company procedures and data integrity standards, handling mail service and liaising with couriers as required.
  • Comply with Marsh Excellence and Professional Standards to ensure quality service to all clients.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in email, word processing, and spreadsheet software, as well as a working knowledge of presentation software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team-based environment.
  • Proven strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to navigate a corporate environment.
  • Business savvy with the ability to learn quickly, demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Professional service industry knowledge or experience an asset, with a strong client service focus.
