Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, with in-depth knowledge of group underwriting processes, strong communication and presentation skills, and ability to identify training needs and design effective programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on all aspects of underwriting functions to ensure consistency and accuracy across the team.
  • Provide training to Sales and other departments on underwriting processes and documentation, fostering cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ensure the maintenance and continuous improvement of underwriting processes and documentation to align with company policies and best practices.
  • Conduct quality reviews, identify training gaps, and implement corrective training to address areas for improvement.
  • Support internal audits by ensuring that underwriting procedures comply with policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of group underwriting processes, strong communication and presentation skills, ability to identify training needs and design effective programs.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training sessions at other locations in Canada.
  • Proficiency in English and French.
