Job Title: Senior Audit Manager, US Audit QAIP Expert

We are looking for an experienced Senior Audit Manager to join our team in Toronto, Canada. As a key member of our Audit Professional Practice team, you will contribute to the overall success of our global Audit Department.

Job Description:
  • You will manage and support a customer-focused culture throughout your work to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
  • Accountable for the effective operation of the Audit Department's Quality Assurance and Improvement program, including applying expert judgment and expertise to review and evaluate all audit aspects of activities.
  • You will be accountable as part of a global Quality Assurance team to conduct and report reviews in a consistent manner to give the Chief Auditor assurance of the consistency of audit work and testing globally.
  • Ongoing review and identification of issues on Quality Assurance across all audit activities in alignment with the Audit Department's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program and its strategies.
  • You will contribute to the development and execution of the global Quality Assurance and Improvement plan and execute key areas of the plan and enhancements.
Requirements:
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience in a professional practice capacity at another audit firm or function
  • Formal training or certification in Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in Internal Audit methodology
  • Undergraduate degree with advanced degree in business or finance an asset or comparable experience
  • 5 to 10 years financial services experience, with capital markets experience being an asset
  • Training or coaching experience
  • Flexible, analytical, focused on results, and able to work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively to senior levels of management and external regulators
