Job Summary
Royal Bank of Canada is seeking a talented and results-driven Financial Advisor to join our team in Halifax. As a key member of our Personal & Commercial Banking division, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining relationships with our high-value clients, providing expert advice and guidance to help them achieve their financial goals.
What We Offer
We are committed to providing a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects the value we place on our employees' hard work and dedication. Our estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to grow our customer base;
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on a range of financial products and services, including investments, credit, and mortgages;
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceptional client experiences;
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to provide informed advice and guidance to clients;
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets, while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course);
- Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I);
- 2-3 years of proven sales experience in the financial services industry, handling credit and investments;
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships;
- Digital literacy across a broad range of devices (i.e., smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.).
