Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) invites talented professionals to join its dynamic team as an Executive Program Manager in the HR IT division.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise and drive strategic initiatives that transform the organization. As an Executive Program Manager, you will oversee large-scale projects within HR IT, fostering collaboration across business and technology teams. Your mission is to ensure timely delivery, staying within budget and scope while driving value creation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute project plans, defining project lifecycle phases and coordinating dependencies.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with HR Business/Technology Owners to deliver successful initiatives that meet desired outcomes.
  • Establish effective governance structures and oversight for assigned projects, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Lead integrated project planning, refining estimates, tracking progress, and managing performance against delivery plans.
  • Raise and resolve issues, escalating concerns to immediate managers when necessary.
  • Maintain open communication channels, providing regular status reports to executives, stakeholders, business units, vendors, and project teams.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence, Rally Central).
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and structured thinking.
  • Ability to multitask, handling competing priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • RBC project management experience.
  • Domain expertise in HR/Payroll.
  • PMP and/or PgMP certification.
