About the Opportunity

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the financial needs of individuals and businesses and be able to provide expert guidance and advice to help them achieve their goals. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique circumstances and develop personalized financial plans that meet their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional client service and build long-term relationships with clients
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop personalized financial plans
  • Offer expert guidance and advice on a range of financial products and services
  • Collaborate with other professionals within the bank to ensure seamless delivery of services to clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in the financial services industry
  • Valid Mutual Funds accreditation (Investment Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course)
  • Completed Certificate in Financial Services Advice, offered through the CSI (i.e. Personal Financial Service Advice and Financial Planning I)
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $80,000 - $120,000 per year, based on the location of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and the level of experience required. However, please note that actual salaries may vary depending on individual circumstances.
