Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Financial Analyst to join our team at Natural Forces, a leading Canadian clean energy developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting project finance operations, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support project budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis.
  • Monitor project expenses and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to secure project funding and manage financial reporting requirements.
Investment Tax Credit Process:
  • Oversee the application, tracking, and compliance of ITC credits for eligible projects.
  • Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure all documentation aligns with tax credit requirements.
  • Liaise with tax advisors and auditors to validate credit eligibility and compliance.
Funding Source Coordination:
  • Manage Clean Technology Investment Tax Credit process.
  • Manage multiple funding streams, including grants, loans, and private investments, ensuring timely and accurate allocation.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders on funding utilization and performance metrics.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with funding agencies, lenders, and investors.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, detailing project progress and financial status.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in a project financial administration or a related role.
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Proficient in financial software and tools.
Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
